Modular Messaging: Checking Voicemail

After setting up your Voicemail box, you can follow these steps to check any messages that have been left for you.

When on-campus:

1. Dial 8-5600.
2. When the system answers, enter your voicemail password followed by the # key. (If you are checking your voicemail from someone else’s phone enter your 5-digit extension followed by the # key. When prompted by the system, enter your voicemail password followed by the # key.)
3. Press 2 to select “Get Messages.” Listen to the header information.
4. Press 0 to listen to the first message.
5. Press *3 to delete the message or # to skip and save the message. Repeat this step until all messages have played.

When off-campus:

1. Dial your campus extension.
2. Press * during the greeting.
3. Press * again when prompted. 
4. Enter your 5-digit extension.
5. Enter your voicemail password followed by the # key.
6. Press 2 to select “Get Messages.” Listen to the header information.
7. Press 0 to listen to the first message.
8. Press *3 to delete the message or # to skip and save the message. Repeat this step until all messages have played.

Please note: The system automatically deletes all messages after 10 days.
