Avaya 2400: Transfer a Call

Steps

1. While on a call, press the ‘transfer’ button on your phone.

2. You can now dial the number manually or press a stored auto dial button of the person you are transferring the call to.

3. Here you have 2 options: You can stay on the line to be sure the person answers and press the ‘conference’ button to connect all parties. Hang up, and the 2 remaining parties will stay connected.

4. OR, after dialing the number, simply press the ‘transfer’ button again to automatically send the caller to the other person. This is called a blind transfer. The display will show ‘transfer completed’.
